The first wine to be released under the brand name of BENACUS, is an IGT Merlot Veneto from the 2005 vintage. * * * The purpose of our web site is to provide information on the wines we select, and also to inform people that boxed wine can be as good as, if not better than, some bottled wines, at a better price and with added convenience. While new in many European countries, premium boxed wine is a staple in wine sales in Australia, France and Scandinavia. We believe that consumers are now ready to try the same wine they drink in a bottle, in a box. We are targeting at premium wine drinkers who want the convenience of enjoying a glass of good wine without having to open a whole bottle.
